Organized by RPI's Game Dev Club, RGS is an annual opportunity for all Rensselaer students to showcase their games to the local community. This year's event is the first since Fall 2019, so we're excited to be back -- and we hope that you can join us, too!

Attending RGS 2022
The Rensselaer Games Showcase will follow a basic "expo" format: Attendees are welcome to drop in/out at any point from 12-5pm on Saturday to chat with developers and, of course, play some games!
We hope in the future to reintroduce keynote speakers or panel discussions featuring local partners, as well.
Campus visitors are allowed to park in the West and North Lots without a parking permit on weekends (e.g., Saturday and Sunday). West Lot is located off of Sage Avenue (and beside West Hall at 80 8th Street, Troy, NY 12180); North Lot is located off of 11th Street (and beside Anderson Field on Sage Avenue).
Street parking is also available on a first come, first served basis on most campus roads.
Additional campus parking information, including metered spots, can be found at RPI Info.
The McNeil Room is located on the 2000-level of the RPI Union, which is most readily accessed via the building entrances facing 15th Street and Sage Avenue. Sloped walkways for building access can also be found along 15th Street and the "back" of the building near Griswold Road.
The venue itself is a large cafeteria-style space featuring a Panera Bread along the southern side of the room.
RGS 2022 will feature thirteen games from RPI students. Many of these students are enrolled in the Institute's Games and Simulation Arts and Sciences Program, but others come from majors and departments from across the university (and, of course, members of the Game Dev Club itself)! The full list of games includes:
- Breakdown
- Floor Feast
- High Zeaz
- Idle Tamer
- Igneous is Bliss
- Jupiter Station
- Melony’s Marvelous Melon March
- Mirare: The Shattered Self
- Root of All Evil
- Safe Space
- Sisyphish
- Spondooli Boom 'N Bust
- Tie the Knot

We're also excited to be joined this year by three of our local partner studios and organizations from Troy:
- 1st Playable Productions
- Tech Valley Game Space
- Regicide (Created by Jamey Stevenson and Spoony Bird):
Regicide is a digital board game of courtly intrigue for 5-10 players. Claim the crown and avoid being dethroned, but beware! Deception and conspiracy lurk around every corner. Who will you trust?
