Requesting Proposal for Games to Educate about Covid

The Rensselaer Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development seeks proposals for digital games that address public health education and awareness in support of the New York State response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Games may:

  • Address behavior, such as social distancing, hand-washing, or wearing masks in public
  • Present facts about the virus, such as transmission or symptoms
  • Convey other relevant information to help the public response

Funding level for this initial solicitation is capped at $4,750 per submission and submitters must be residents or businesses located in NY state. We’ve opened submissions on Wednesday April 22 which will be assessed on a rolling basis.  Review of proposals will continue while funds are available.
