GameFest 2018!

Don’t forget to mark your calendars (if you haven’t already), GameFest 2018 is happening on May 5th and it’s free to attend and open to the public!

Participating students come from colleges all across the Northeast, including Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Rochester Institute of Technology, Quinnipiac University, University of Connecticut, Champlain College, and New York University.

Participating local developers include Vicarious Visions, Velan Studios, WB Games NY, 1st Playable Productions and Tech Valley Game Space.

The keynote talk ‘This is a Group Exercise’ will be given by Chelsea Hash (‘06) of Giant Sparrow, Lead Technical Artist on the BAFTA winning (Best Game) What Remains of Edith Finch.

GameFest is an annual celebration of creativity and innovation in digital games, with a student showcase and competition, music performances, and presentations from veteran game designers, critics, scholars, and indie developers. This event is hosted by RPI’s GSAS program.
